Heather Jones is a veteran public relations consultant for chefs, restaurateurs and culinary artisans. After a decade in technology PR, she transitioned to the culinary industry and launched her own consultancy in 2001 and began promoting some of San Francisco’s finest restaurants. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2007, she has been an advocate for Portland’s thriving food scene, assisting in various culinary festivals and conferences, and founding a local restaurant podcast. In her 25+ years in the PR business, she has placed clients in such reputable spotlights as NPR, Food & Wine, Sunset, Wine Spectator, Parents, Better Homes & Gardens, and Men’s Health. She is currently a member of the Portland Culinary Alliance, the International Foodservice Editorial Council, and Les Dames Escoffier International.
