Heather Jones is a veteran public relations consultant for chefs, restaurateurs and culinary artisans. In her 20+ years in the PR biz, she has placed clients in such reputable spotlights as NPR, Food & Wine, Sunset, Wine Spectator, Parents, Better Homes & Gardens and Men’s Health. An advocate for Portland’s burgeoning food scene, she served as Host Committee Vice Chair for the IACP’s 2010 Conference, and recently spearheaded the PR team for Taste of the Nation, benefiting No Kid Hungry. In 2014 she partnered with Chris Angelus to create “Right at the Fork,” a podcast that profiles some of the region’s most prolific food and beverage artisans.

Heather is a refugee of California’s Silicon Valley, narrowly escaping a decade in technology PR. In 2001 she launched Heather Jones Consulting as a clever ruse to eat for a living. It appears to be working.
